It's a wonder if most of you aren't divorced three times and/or don't get a lot of sex with the lack of respect shown towards the opposite sex. I almost feel sorry for you.......but not really.

When we got married my wife said all she wanted was for me to always be honest with her. Its bitten her in the ass ever since.

This is why my wife drives a 2dr Wrangler Rubicon. Drops of the kids at school, whips in and out of traffic, and can park it anywhere!

Because of the stigma attached to mini-vans, one needs to negotiate a longer test-drive period than the typical 30-60min, might mean taking a used one or even renting one for a few days. 2-3 days of normal pick-up/drop-offs @ school and activities, a few trips for groceries and household goods, and maybe a short overnight Friday home on Saturday trip tacked on the end of the extended test drive makes the drivability, logic, and convenience/utility of a mini-van undeniable.

We have a toyota sennia, yukon XL and a Chevy crew. Prior to that my wife drove an enclave and then a malibu.

I have been on pick up and drop off duty for 3 or 4 yrs now. When we had our 3 and picked up and extra, my crew didn't cut it any more. 4 car seat in a crew cab just doesn't work. So I drove my wifes mini vans for 2 or 3 weeks. Then it hit me we have camping events coming up and the tow capacity on it sucked. It could do it but you're going to be pretty damn hard on it tranny. Picked up the Yukon. Normally the yukon is the go to vehicle. There is very few times the van has all of us. 4 kids, 2 dogs, Wife and myself and all the stuff for the weekend usually fills everything up. We do have 1 open seat in the 2nd row that is usable. In the 3rd row, you can't get anyone over 10yrs old in that spot. and even then my nephew was complaining.

They all have their uses.

Male female, they all drive like asses.

There's a possibility for an ass kicking, slap or gunshot. Or the other hand there's potential for some phone #'s. It's sad how the joy of a good spanking has diminished from our culture.

It would be fine iffn the lady folk was capable of maneuvering said vehicle. I know there is the rare chick that can, however the vast majority cannot.
I was a traveling salesman for 10 yrs, farm to farm, ranch to ranch, all 10 yrs I drove a front wheel drive accord or Toyota. Somehow managed to spend once digging out in the winter.

As a youngster 4x4s were rare, front wheel drive didn't exist. Wonder how the soccer mom's got kids to school in them days?

Don't justify your selves to me...haha
Chick's should be in the kitchen anyway

First I get your frustration at school…good gawd are people stupid…and yes most of them women…I am super happy this year as the last crumb snatcher is now riding the bus daily and I don’t have deal with the idiocy of school drop off and pick up…
…Big SUV I had to beg my wife to drive a full size SUV…I still wanted the space and comfort in the garage but wanted a pickup of my own…it took a while to get use to but she loves it now and likes the sitting up above the stupidity especially on busy interstate around town…I like that’s its solid and safe and don’t have to worry about her in the winter time.
…as far as the status thing goes, maybe but I think it’s more like, I want to drive a sporty car but you’re making me drive this big bus around so I am going to get every bell and whistle I can…compromise…

Thought this was going to be a repeat of the famous "wifes" post from the other website... and we would be hammering johnr on his drinking problem that he didn't know he had. Epic it was!

The better question is why are kids not riding the school bus or walking their ass to school?

Wow, how times have changed, I grew up with dad driving a 81 ford single cab, mom driving a 80's Chrysler Cordoba two door. 3 siblings and dog. And we went camping and fishing all the time. What is everyone packing for the weekend camping trip?
