Just noticed there's no hiking, rock climbing section. So I thought this may spark some discussion on wild things like is in this clip. I would do this if I weren't so old n out of shape. I'd have done in a heart beat in my youth.

Other crazy outdoor activities I've never done; white water rafting/kayak, Ballon ride, sky diving, bunji jumping.

No thanks to that ladder. One at a time would be ok, but the chances of getting stuck behind someone who can't or won't move is too high. White water is a ball if you like being upside down in water with rocks zooming past your head. Parasailing on a huge grass air strip behind a jeep was a blast. Parasailing behind a boat on the ocean was ok except for the gelatinous balls of raspberry long island tea floating beside us for a while on a rough water day. Rappelling is a BLAST.

Interesting, Back in my younger days I would have been way out of my comfort zone but I loved climbing around drilling rigs . stand on the crown and look at the scenery. I thought I wasn't scared of heights until I worked the board on a workover rig. I never could relax looking at that spindly little truck down there holding the derrick full of pipe. No matter how hard I tried.

Watched hang-gliding in utah, I was working across the interstate from point of the mountain . The North side is where the widowmaker hill climb was in 1963 , I saw it on ABC wild world of sports and it was the neatest thing to me, I wanted to do everything back then. .

The sky was full of gliders , I thought they were prop drive until I looked with the binoculars , Stopped in and it was fun to watch close up.
I was talking to the main contractor at work about it and he was a funny guy the way he talked . jed Clampett and dressed like him too, nothing fancy . He told me the north side where all the houses are they used to ride motorcycles up, yep it was so big they'd have camera crews there and everything. Quite the coincidence.

Hell. No. Wish my brain would let me overcome the fear and let me do it, but my medulla oblongata says otherwise.

Buddy of mine use to fly ultra light around the farm all the time. Took off one morning and just had gotten to his normal cruising height when spit and sputter, had to lay it down in a plowed field. Forgot to turn the gas back on 😲

Those thing are cool but props scare me . My sisters neighbor had a snow plane and I wanted to build one in the worst way so I was collecting parts and pieces his was hand start and I don't know the details bus assume he slipped on ice and the prop took his right shoulder off at the neck , He lived to talk about it but old age would have got him by now. BIL flies a neat old cessna taildragger and had landed in the yard another BIL had his hunting dog out and the dog came running and ran into the prop and took most of his mouth and nose off .

Not for me now or when I was younger.
Me neither, Another one is those flying squirrel suits where they spread legs and feet and jump off a cliff and glide. I saw a whole bunch of EMTs east of the newtown bridge years ago someone had taken a Leap of faith in a glider and went straight down. Good to see your still posting, I was wondering if you were still around. Hope all is going well.
