You're Flounder walking up to the poker table and asking if the guys are playing cards.
That confusion is caused from trust, I don't have much trust anymore but I sure see a lot of greed .
It has always confused me when a politician says we have to become energy self sufficient, then that same politician approves of selling our oil to another country.
What I want to know is where are Hoeven, Heidi, and Cramer on this issue? Seems like they are hiding out in Washington hoping this whole thing blows over. I suspect Heidi is not for the pipeline as she is a demo and needs those native votes to even have a chance at tge ballot box. To my knowledge, none of them have stepped up and supported the pipeline, maybe they have and I missed it, but if they did it was probably just a sound bite or talking point. We here in ND are represented, like usual, with people who have no backbone and are more interested in getting re-elected than taking a stand or position on a controversial matter such as the pipeline. Again, I call for term limits on Congress, maybe if they didn't have a re-election to worry about they would actually stand for something.

I don't think you will hear much from heidi this is a loose loose for her and the best thing she can do is try to keep her head down and position neutral and ambiguous at best.

It is a word bantered about by the likes of Sanders and Hillary so

i wonder if she has told her brother to shut the hell up yet?
Ya, I was saying "confusing" with tongue in cheek. If I understand it correctly an oil company doesn't pay to import a barrel of oil if they had to pay the country of origin a tax to export it. On the other hand I wonder if they pay a tax here if they have to pay an import tax to the country shipped to? I read years ago that the oil industry saves 18 billion a year with this little tax manipulation. I can see why they do it, but that loophole should not exist. The tax code should be written to the benefit of the United States, not to the benefit of the oil company. I would guess there is a trail of lobbyists and money leading to this setup. Much like Hillary selling influence for money in the Clinton Foundation, just by republicans instead of democrats. They should all be cell mates.
The villain isn't the oil company that operates for the most profit, the villians are the politicians who sell us out for personal profit. Most problems can be traced back to greed. Greed for money, power, fame, land etc.
Would that greed for power include those wanting pass initiated measures to dictate how others make a living according to their ideals?
The trouble with bantering about accusations such as "greed" one better look in the mirror first.
Everyone has their own idea of what "greed" is.
putting profit before priciple
I love the whole situation. The ACOE was praising how easy it would be to work with the Tribe in context of the land transfer. The ACOE Colonel told me face to face I should actually thank the Corp. I laughed to his face and said I think you have a skewed understanding.
Now they see it first hand. The Tribe never even filed the injunction relating to potential environmental impacts. They filed because saw opportunity to invade private property jurisdiction. Believe me when I say reading between the lines is all about obtaining control by nanipulating people to believe they have cultural say in every acre of land because they lived in the 1800s and before hence someone could be buried somewhere or a rock could be theirs. That's what this was about.
Any of you read the judge ruling? I have, a complete embarrassment if a protester had a brain. Their protests are completely unfounded.

Heidi has delicate ice to navigate because she is pushing hard for transfer of lands to Standing Rock. Now with this, she has to be very careful. Hoeven? Why would he take his head out into the line of fire when can do work behind the scenes.
And yes, this is a total over reach of this President. This is who they want to be. Controllers of all. And some of you sheep keep voting these people in. Yuck.
And we're off!;:;popcorn
I love how he thought my post was about what he posted instead of who it was posted too!:;:cheersOnly took 31 pages! Now this sucker will hit 50, easy.
