One step closer to the end.
somewhat unrelated

At least 20 years ago, Stansberry predicted the financial rise of the DJIA, I believe to the neighborhood of 60,000 and then a crash. His timing was off (he said it would happen earlier than it is now). He had other financial and political predictions which played out pretty accurately if I remember correctly.

Back in 2009, playing on his computer, my son mined around 10 bitcoins when they were worth about one cent. When he moved, he lost or threw away the private keys.

How long did it take to mine one? My boy was mining back then but I keep forgetting to ask him how he made out .

I find it a little odd that there aren’t crypto millionaires everywhere. In fact anywhere. With the prices where they are wouldn’t you think there would be billionaire Bitcoin holders? Does any of us personally know a Bitcoin millionaire? I don’t know of any. I’ve don’t even know anyone that knows a Bitcoin millionaire. Or anyone that owns a single Bitcoin for that matter. Other than internet gurus like Michael Sayler or Rau Paul.

I did see a YouTube story about a guy that had 4 million in Bitcoin stored in a cold wallet. It gets hacked and know he has zero and no way to recover it. Which I think is odd how any Bitcoin can be hacked since I thought all transactions are on record on the blockchain. If that was the case it should be unhackable. Couldn’t you trace the Bitcoin to where ever it went if all transactions are documented?
