Millions for the billionaires and crumbs for the peasants! ND
has been taken over by the billionaires and corrupt politicians.
$1600. credit is a joke when compared to the 90 million missing in the NDDF and the millions the commerce dept. hands out to their buddies.

And that is a total crock of shit. They are just counting on people forgetting or not knowing about it and putting $$$ in the coffers.
Fricken Crooks. . .
I have to say I'm impressed by the effort the State puts into reminding people to apply for the credit (yes, I know you shouldn't have to apply every year but that's a dead horse). Between mailings, emails and ads on every platform imaginable it seems that if you don't remember to apply that's on you. Part of your responsibility as a homeowner, just like paying your property taxes on time and renewing your homeowners insurance.

Can you imagine the cost to do the reminder?

I am guessing that they require the yearly sign up because maybe you sold your primary residence and are living in a van down by the river.

Name changes it kicks it out just like other states that have similiar programs. You dont have to sign up year after year. If something changes both sides update it (new owner / old owner). The computers will check for duplicates and throw them out and those get dealt with on a individual basis just like now.

I got a 33% bump in valuation. This was the last year they could go over 3% I believe
DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH, the 3% cap is for the local tax mill levies, not for individual homes. Yours could go up 10-15-20% or whatever they want as long as the average for the local governing body doesn't exceed 3%. You better buddy up to someone downtown to keep yours low! Bahaha

So you’re telling me the legislature didn’t cap every home valuation/tax increase at 3%? If that’s the case you will see a measured every damn election cycle to eliminate this shit
