What in the ā€œCovid came from eating undercooked pangolinā€ is going on here.

Iā€™m not a big CWD guy, but if there is a way to get it, this has got to be it.

opening weekend was ok, saw 7 does and 1 buck, should've had the buck but made a few dumb rookie mistakes and well the opening sunday was the windstorm and only saw 1 doe, last weekend i had a business trip, and i get to be back out in the fields tomorrow, hopefully i can be fortunate enough to see some more bucks. if not that's ok, just glad to be able to spend some time with the in laws and be out in nature and to see some deer

Lotta tag soup here too due to how the corn crop was taken off and then the ice storm we had here, It changed the deers whole travel pattern and I never had a deer get close than a quarter mile and that was at night according to tracks. LB

Seemed like a lot more guys out and about on the last weekend than normal in my area, almost seemed like opener.

Soon the rut is over, bucks have settled down, will take the bow off the hanger, shoot at the target and start my 2022 deer hunting experience.
Have some decent bucks who i have put names on. Most were there last year and if it is up to me, they will be there next year i do imagine. Not much for the kill.

But i do have an older 5 point that maybe would score in the 130s that i would not mind harvesting. Not the largest but i kind 'a like the shape of its horns.
And yes, great photos db
