Back sometime around the fifties when i was about 7 my dad bought at auction for $75. I remember well as i thought that was a lot to pay for a gun at the time.
Father passed away and gun was given to brother who also die, and sons did not want.
One day at a gun show as i walk in and i seen it about 20 feet away for sale.
Asked price and he said one at another table same shotgun had a price of $4500.

Well, no way for me but in the end got it for $1000 from my nephew. db

A few days ago, i acquire a cousin to my M1.
Do not own a m16 in 223 or any AR but i believe starting at 1000 yards and going down these two will shame any AR in 223. DB

Just a thought sv advid skeet shooter's shoot sub gauge events with they're tried and proven well fitted 12ga.,they have a custom shotgun tooling company like "briley" make sub guage tubes 410 and up,this way shooter has one well fitted scatter gun to shoot multiple sub gauge events rather then trying to use multiple shotguns which all fit differently and poi varies as well as trigger pull and lop ( length of pull)
