Post'em while you've got them! This thread is for the discussion of everything "Conspiracy Theory", new and old. Anyone paying attention in the last few years should realize that often there is more to these than the media or govt will admit.

Here is a list of 10 conspiracy theories that have been proven true:

The CIA's involvement in overthrowing the democratically elected government of Iran in the 1950s to install a more U.S.-friendly Shah.

The CIA's Operation Mockingbird, a covert operation to control the media by planting stories and manipulating the narrative.

The U.S. government's use of weather warfare during the Vietnam War to hinder enemy infiltration.

The existence of Project Sunshine, a study to measure the effects of nuclear fallout on the human body, which involved the collection of tissue samples from deceased individuals without their families' consent.

The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male, where the U.S. Public Health Service intentionally withheld treatment from African American men with syphilis to study the natural progression of the disease.

The CIA's involvement in the creation and dissemination of the term "conspiracy theory" to discredit and marginalize individuals questioning official narratives.

The U.S. government's COINTELPRO program, which illegally disrupted and targeted dissident political organizations within the United States.

The U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff's Operation Northwoods, a plan to stage and commit terror attacks across the U.S. and blame it on Cuba to justify an invasion.

The CIA's involvement in staging the Gulf of Tonkin incident to escalate U.S. military involvement in Vietnam.

The U.S. government's Project MKUltra, a program that conducted mind control experiments on unwitting subjects using drugs, hypnosis, and other methods.

Here's a list of conspiracy theories from the last decade that turned out to be true:
  1. The U.S. Government's surveillance program: The revelations by Edward Snowden in 2013 confirmed that the U.S. government was indeed engaged in extensive surveillance of its citizens, which was once considered a conspiracy theory.
  2. The lab leak theory of COVID-19: Initially dismissed as a conspiracy theory, the idea that the virus may have originated in a lab in Wuhan, China, and leaked accidentally gained more credibility as time went on.
  3. The existence of UFOs: In 2020, the Pentagon officially released videos of unidentified flying objects, confirming that the U.S. military had encountered and documented unexplained aerial phenomena.
  4. The suppression of alternative COVID-19 treatments: Some believe that the effectiveness of certain treatments, such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, was downplayed or suppressed by health authorities and mainstream media.
  5. The suppression of information on social media platforms: There have been numerous instances where social media platforms have been accused of censoring information or users for expressing views that were contrary to the mainstream narrative.
  6. The influence of the deep state: The term "deep state" refers to a group of influential people within government or other institutions who are believed to manipulate policy or public opinion for their own benefit. The existence of such a group has been a long-standing conspiracy theory, but some believe recent events have provided evidence of its influence.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has openly expressed doubts about the official narrative surrounding his father's assassination. He has suggested that the CIA was involved in the murder of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, and has been critical of the Warren Commission's conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in JFK's assassination. While he has not explicitly stated that his father's murder was an "inside job," his public comments and the promotion of conspiracy theories surrounding political assassinations indicate a belief in the potential involvement of government entities in such events. However, it's important to note that these are his personal views and not a definitive conclusion.

After watching that show, makes me wonder if Oswald had anything to do with it at all. Probably but....?
