    Yes or no? I've heard that a guy shouldn't use it because all the vibration from the trailer is directed to the transom through the transom saver. I've also heard that they were only useful on really rough roads. What's your thoughts?

    For those that make their own spinner rigs, how do you set them up? I used to buy the cheaper, more dull, blades, but now am a big advocate of shiny, flashy, and somewhat noisy. What blades, beads, line, etc ... do you use? Lengths? Any other info? Thanks!

    I made do with spinning reels in the $40-$50 range for years. Friend of mine bought a $100 Pflueger Supreme spinning reel...Gave it a try. I was wrong thinking that a $40-$50 reel was almost as good as a $100 reel. That supreme is great, smooth, good drag and very castable and well balanced...
