has dropped a lot in the last 2 weeks... question, how far does it have to drop to effect walleye eggs??? how deep do they spawn, and how long until they hatch???

My guess, and only a guess, is that it would not take much of a drop during spawn to effect the eggs. Hopefully the corps takes this in mind.

1842 is the expected lake level this year. Which is about 4 ft lower than last year but still plenty high.
no need to panic yet

It has been fairly steady at 1839 the last few weeks.

right now it's about 10' higher than a year ago. If we get some nice rain things will be fine. They have had a bunch of rain in the middle of montana already.

Holy Hell two straight days of rain now snow the creeks running and oahe is taking on water. This is bad for my mud hole.around the new.house but great for the lake.
