    Pics of Your Fishing Chariot

Wow, there are some nice boats on here. I would love a glass boat some day but just can't believe the prices of these new boats. I got lucky and bought mine directly from a bank in November several years ago. They wanted nothing to do with storing it for the winter. I'm pretty sure I could...

    UND nickname list is out

I don't mind North Stars or Force. (I was actually one of a handful of people that submitted the name for the Fargo Force and got a bunch of merchandise and free season tickets the first year.) I don't mind just North Dakota either, but when you're at a hockey game and they announcer says...

    Mosquito control

Tempo is awesome stuff and generally really safe, but remember it is super toxic to fish, so take care when using around water.

    thin water walleyes

I've never tried, but I bet you could catch a walleye on top water in Devil's Lake. Some type of walk-the-dog or even a sub-surface one like a Rapala Subwalk. It's a blast when you're bobber fishing with one pole and casting cranks with the other and catching walleyes and white bass.

    Boat cleaner

I like Ducky as well, awesome for water spots on your engine. You can get it at Scheels as well.

    Lunchbox Items

Sriracha, Gunslinger, Franks...............yum. I love cold fried chicken. The trick is to let the chicken cool down in the fridge uncovered, that way the skin stays crispy and tasty when cold, and not all soggy and yucky. :;:cheers

Friends that over borrow their welcome

You sure did, Tommyboy, and that push mower hasn't been run since. Was that 2 years ago? I bet that gas is bad again. :;:cheers

56" 55lb northern caught in Manitoba

Yup. This one has been floating around for 10 years. Why do European fish get so big anyway? They have 40 inch Zander, 3 1/2 pound perch and these huge northern.....what gives?

    Target Walleye e-mail

Don't know how many of you get this bi-weekly e-mail, but it's worth signing up for. It's a fairly new Lindner Media Productions product and they have some real good pictures and stories. Go to the website to sign up. http://targetwalleye.com/

    GPS/Sonar anti-vibration hack.

Saw this on the internet and decided to give it a try last night while packing for the weekend. Looks like it's going to work very nicely. I like to use Johnny Ray mounts for my electronics, but sometimes when I'm going fast there can be a lot of vibration of my Lowrance unit making it...

    Hidden Rough Fish Delicacies

A few years ago at a fancy St. Paul restaurant I had sturgeon poached in duck fat that was really good.

    Tatonka Dust

I seem to remember Mossy saying the MSG is part of one of the spices he blends to make Tatonka, and MSG is not added separately is it's own ingredient. I thought the MSG content on Tatonka Dust was actually quite low. It has become one of my go-to seasonings, just pure awesome stuff!!!!

    MN Musky Opener 6/6/15

Who's going to make the opener this weekend? We're headed to West Battle Lake to give it a shot. Perhaps end up in Detroit Lakes at some point. Water temps are low for this time of year yet, very low 60's. I know the walleye action has been a little off, hopefully the muskies are recovered...
