I've never bought into this CWD garbage. It's been around far long before we "discovered" it and is most likely a naturally occurring issue. I remember when this was really brought to light in the 90's. Saskatchewan decimated deer and elk populations in "CWD areas" and it did absolutely nothing except wiped the deer out by the governments hand. I remember some "scientists" also claiming that if something doesn't happen quickly for a cure that the deer population could be wiped out and near extinct in a matter of a couple decades. Ya, we see how that turned out. Scientists aren't the gospel on everything. Often it's some dimwit looking for funding to make a living on his chosen career. I actually know two "scientists" and it amazes me that they even graduated college. That being said, CWD isn't a rampant spreading disease that is the cervid apocalypse. In my opinion, it's nasty winters and blue tongue that we should be more concerned about.
