I've made 20-25lbs of this every year for the past 4 years. Great stuff! You have to add your own honey. I'll check my sausage notebook tonight and let you know how much honey I add.

We have used it the past two years and have been very impressed. We don't use quite a much garlic as the recipe calls for however. I think for our 75 lbs of smoked country style sausage (that was 50/50 deer:pork) we used 24 ounces. We used about 2 pounds of honey. The garlic adds a nice little bit of heat, which is mellowed a bit by the honey-- but not overpowered.

Different but very good. Agree on knock down the garlic. Suggested is too much

Good, sounds like it's good stuff. It sounded pretty good to me so I picked up a package. Just have to wait till I fix my meat mixer then I can start making sausage again.
