I guess there will be a delay in winterizing the boat to the end of the month. I know that 90% of the Halloween trick'r'treaters have snow, sleet, and wind happening.

december 9th was the last day i took my boat out last year. pretty much just so i could say i did it. wasn't real productive.

I, for one, am anticipating greatly the cooler weather. Took the boy out yesterday afternoon for a slough duck hunt, and we were eaten alive as the light and wind waned.

I'm hate mosquitoes. Luckily the ducks cooperated.

Last year I fished December 7th and 9th down at Hazelton. Calm winds, warm and big walleyes. Winter came on the 10th.

November 10th for me last year...remember October being good for walter last year. Seemed fishing was pretty good last year almost to ice up.

I am in SD and fished on December 13th last year. Used the waders to kick open the ice around the ramp. Latest I ever fished was December 21st in this area. I hope to get lots of fall fishing in yet.

I fished open water last winter February 13th. However is was in Cabo so it was cheating of sorts, i was also not in my own boat.

I would rather stand on the ice in December than be in the boat, to be totally honest.

I was ice fishing on Nelson Bay at Audubon that next week...on 3 inches of ice!

well it has happened cold front is knocking on our door, rain came so im not lifting beets, i think its pretty obvious where i'll be this evening, best of luck to all those hitting the stands this evening, giver some hell and send us some pictures!
