I get maybe 6 or 8 inches, thats gonna be a lot of fill to get it to the metal!

The ABSOLUTE WORST thing anyone can do is build a building to low and fight drainage run off for ever. 6" to 12" even 18" of fill now will save decades of water issue headaches.

You need at least 6 inches of fill under the concrete then you add the six inches for the concrete and its really not that much. Having built alot of pads no one ever complains about water draining its the ones that want flat to save a couple bucks on fill that always have the problems

You might want to rough in a spot for a bathroom before the pour...or at least place at least a 3" pvc pipe where you would like the water to come in at. Then all you have to do is "fish" the water line through.

I decided against water, sewer, etc. . It kinda turned into a nice but modest shop vs a man cave

Decisions always happen. You'll like the concrete floor

I have a few buddies that have shops, all of them heated and concrete floors, a couple of them with restroom facilities, and a full kitchen, a few with just heat, and a TV. None of them get used more than once a year for a gathering type scenario.

Just like the bar mrs johnr and I decided we needed in the basement. We have get togethers, and we all still stay upstairs, other than to get supplies out of the bar down stairs.

I have seen what we expect to happen, and what actually happens are not at all the same.

That concrete does not look like it is very well supported. I hope it's just a bad angle of the pic.

They will land scape up to the edge and with bar in it wont have a problem

Gutters next before heavy rains wash everything away. It is unreal how much water runs off those roofs. Looks great !

I couldn’t figure out how I would keep gutters clean living in the woods. I graded it and put heavy plastic and rock 2’ out from the walls. We had heavy rain Sunday pm and this seemed to work like I had planned. Hopefully this works
I guess I can still add gutters if needed
I’m definitely open to ideas

I kept turning outside of that corner with the skidsteer I should’ve been paying more attention. I think I have it fixed
