I never thought i would see a republican administration take the steps to finally drop mj down to a reasonable schedule instead of schedule 1. Long ways to go in finding out scientifically what mj does and does not do and with that better scientific detection in users system. Then again he is ex democrat, da Goat does it again, now hopefully like making your own hooch people will be able to grow their own purple sticky punch
And this third is 10 years old

Not from what I read.

Can you manufacture substances like ketamine, Tylenol with codeine and anabolic steroids or any other schedule 3 drugs at home?! No, because of its federal scheduling. People not understanding how scheduling affects states legalization and home grows is sad.
This is keeping cannabis as a federally “Controlled substance”. Before with schedule 1 cannabis was out of the reach of big pharma due to schedule 1 drugs having “no medical value”, but now with schedule 3, cannabis now has “medical value”, big pharma can now take over the cannabis industry with the protection of the law.
Federally, every home grow, state licensed grow, state licensed dispensaries are all technically illegal, even more so if you transport it past state lines.
Now, the only group who can “legally”, at the federal level, grow and distribute, nation wide, across all state borders, and even potentially world wide, with no real legal recourse is commercial drug manufacturers and their pharmacies.
This rescheduling just puts cannabis firmly and legally in the hands of commerical drug manufacturers who can now use the courts and govt to help them monopolize the plant and make sure no one else but them gets to grow it.

The scheduling as of right now has never been controlled by the federal government since bush, states have full control as to who can grow not the federal government. We will have to see if north dakota will allow recreational now and allow more dispensaries in the state instead of only 8.
But we have to agree that its in the right direction for better access to mj being that its a schedule 3, brighter future
