Most likely the same two tags that have been issued the past few years. An animal tag and a carcass tag. One to stay with the animal, such as a buck that is being taken to a taxidermist, and the other to stay with the meat when brought to the butcher shop.

Or maybe you just got lucky, but there is no way that it will be legal to fill both tags.

I talked to a couple other people yesterday who also received duplicates. This is apparently more widespread than one would hope. I guess we will see how honest people are this fall.

I wonder if there is a way they can track who got two. I haven't received my tag(s) yet so maybe my tag went to someone else. I agree with Allen, if there is no way to track it there will probably be a number of assholes that take advantage of this screw up.
