One step closer to the end.
That probably
Why you own the land and should be able to drive where ever when ever you want. Cant a land owner say this is an established trail on my land because i decide where the trails are.
that probably would go over like a lead balloon.

Good to know.

Do they accept cash payment on the spot?
Also - is this $50 for 24 hours worth of parking type thing?
Just wondering how much cash to bring. Want to stay light but not run short on parking.

Ain't gonna walk all the way back in there, that's for sure. I'm no spring chicken.

Anyone can draft a bill to go through the legislative process, just need a legislator to submit it. Plenty of time to work on it before the 2027 session. One does not have to be a legal scholar as legislative council will review and clean up the language.

I have heard some legislators commit to submit bills on behalf of a constituent even if they do not agree with the intent of the bill. You can also look for a willing legislator anywhere in the state if none of your district legislators is willing.

If you aren't "hunting", you can pretty much drive wherever your pickup or tractor will take you.
If I own the land shouldn’t matter what I’m doing while driving in it. If a guy wants to drive to the top of a hill in his pasture and glass should be able to

Minnesota?

This was Pollert in SE ND a “few” years ago.

You better worry about it if you don’t want a ticket! He let me off with a warning. I’ve been checked by him numerous times back in the day. Some people complain about him. He’s always been fair and professional with me. Don’t break the law and you won’t have any problems. Pretty simple
Pollert was a pretty good dude. Just doing his job but was always polite. Talked to me one time up in Carrington about using our RR parking lot for a sting/game check point. Said no problem, he said if gets to hectic where we could not get in or out, they would move on.

He's retired so you don't have to worry about him anymore. Mark was my parents next door neighbor for 20 plus years in LaMoure. He was as fair as anyone I knew. And I knew him real well.

So you cant drive out to a hill on land you own and look from deer from the pick up and then get out and lay down and shoot it. Seems like a huge over reach. I can understand the truck having to be parked but other than that seems like making laws just to ticket people for bullshit
I know a landowner that drove a bus out into the middle of a section of CRP. He mowed a path to the bus and made it look like a established trail. Come opening day the Game Warden walked out there and wrote them tickets for hunting in a motor vehicle off a established trail.

True story, you can't make this up.

Buddy of mine use to use an old wood box grain truck parked in the corner of one his fields where prairie roads intersected and tree row ran down the side. Couple lawn chairs in there, was pretty neat. Could walk around in there and use the box all the way around for gun/bow rest.

Checking cows....rockon......rockon......rockon......rockon......rockon...LB
Hah, I know a guy that had this happen. was herding cows home during deer season, by the time they got them home it was dark and they were greeted by G&F, County Mountie and HP. Eye in the sky must have thought it was pretty serious. No guns in the vehicles in fact they dont hunt. Guess it got pretty intense in the initial confrontation.

I remember a few times when the Game Warden was parked at the end of the field, checking combines to see if they had firearms. There was a guy over by Milnor that lost a combine for shooting a Deer off the the combine.

Confusing: You can't have a loaded firearm in your vehicle for MOST hunting, but you can shoot furbearers out of a vehicle. What says I'm not deer hunting, but hunting coyotes?
