My apologies svn, certainly did not mean to skin your feelers. I have not mastered the art of complete comprehension of your posts that are free from the normal constraints most follow when posting. And some times I am just slow on the uptake. No disrespect intended.

I'm not sure any of us has! ;)

I actually paid to join FBO.
Still have a FBO pocket knife.

There were moments when I just chose not to read threads because of the personal battles. Very possibly Tim should have been more on the ball. But Toby was clueless when it came to moderating.

I have high hopes for this site.

Carry on.

I mainly lurked over there. New name here. But, in my honest opinion, everyone should just focus on this site. Splitting the sportsmen between 2 communities doesn't seem like the best of things imho. FBO has let me down. Handled things poorly. Lets mods 100% run the site. A site like this should have solid revisions constantly ... not once a decade. I'm sticking with V. Local guy who seems to be just like me, just in it for the sport itself. I can appreciate that. Bye FBO ... it's been real.

Who has checked into FBO lately? I haven't for a month or more. Just wondering if it is going well with the booting of the bullies

FBO is 90% just Quincy taking on the other "lawyers" about the constitution now.

fbo is still dead. The little bit i have read is pretty boring. Pretty much plainsman, murdoch the scary clown man, and joan giving away crap haha.

FBO is a sinking ship with a hole in the hull. With just a few guys bailing water trying to keep it afloat.

About as well as some fellas running with the bulls.

Hard to say you won with your pants around your ankles and your balls bleeding.

Nice liberal undertones in the commentary mirroring what happened over on FBO. Oops, can we say the word "liberal" on here?

Damn it you guys, you made me go back and look. Looks like over half of the topics on the home page were started by a mod (joan, davis, skoaly).

Well i guess I got my fix now an wont have to go back and snoop around for a few more months.

I truly hope we can keep NDA afloat for a long, long time. I used to frequent Nodakoutdoors as well as FBO on a regular basis. They were great places to see pictures, read advice, chit the chat, etc. Now, both are ghost towns. It's a shame. Some of my best friends were met through those sites back in the mid 2000s.

Let's keep this train chugging! I like to think of solid outdoor forums (NDA) as a virtual bar. I want to come there, meet people I know and folks I don't, and have good discussions where not everyone agrees with each other. If we're always on the same page about everything, that's boring.

When Tim was running things it was pretty fun and we all learned about walleye year classes.

You know, there is a common denominator between those two failing sites. ;):)
