i did not realize that ford followed chevy and started deactivating cylinders. and now the same fallout --- oil burning.

I'm not arguing, nor discounting what you say when I ask:My 5.4 struggles pulling my 27 ft camper the way it is. It doesn't have the tow package. A guy needs to keep his eyes out for older trucks in good shape and snap them up!

GM Dodge all draink the koolaide.Just picked up a 2023 F150 last week for my work vehicle, I so far love it, they no longer have that stupid engine shut down. Its the 5.0, seems plenty peppy, however I haven't pulled with it yet.
Back seat is big, ordered it with the longer 6.5 box, feels like a pickup.
