The week before Memorial Day and many other weekend holidays, you might just as well grease the old sphinx and bend over. The whole gasoline price thing is just a joke---damn them! How is it that when oil goes up $1.00 per barrel (50-55 gallons in a barrel),that the gas prices jump $.20-.30 a gallon?

gonna see $100 oil by mid to late summer. 60 rigs drilling now and will no doubt keep going up. It still amazes me that people think there is no profit margin selling gasoline lol.

I hope not.

Looks like OPEC like's where it's at now. Putting another million barrels a day on the market.
They still drive the price.

Lincoln, kinda...
err, there's 42 gallons in a standard barrel of crude. Oil is down near $3 a barrel today due to OPEC.

I'm sure the stations are lowering their price today being crude is down. Guessing they will lower it 40-50 cents a gallon. ;:;rofl

That would take a war and if that happened we might even see $ 150-200. Every field in the world throttles up production when the price takes a jump and then we see a surplus and price dive in a month. Iv'e saw more crude oil Uni trains running the last few days than I have in the past few months. The best thing ND could hope for is a steady $ 60 long term price, Anything more will only hurt us in the long run unless there is a disruption of some sort.

2.99 when I left Bismarck and 2.55 in Rapid City. I remember as a kid, my dad complaining about gas prices in the Black Hills being so much higher. I guess Bismarck is now the king of the gougers!

Diesel was going up when we left for Zion National Park three weeks ago. The most we paid was in Stanley, Idaho $4.99 a gallon. The cheapest was at Steel, ND at $3.05 a gallon. Part of that was location. I think it was $3.59 here and Bismarck when we left. Stanley, Idaho was sort of an isolated town. I don't think diesel cost them any more, but if your going to do things in the area they have you over a barrel. I'm not positive, but I think that's where my license plate on my camper got lifted too. East of Stanley in the BLM East fork of the Salmon campground.

Did you report it stolen? I was once told by a Law Enforcement Officer to always report it if someone steals a license plate no matter what state or where it is at. He said they use it on stolen items that it would be used for (like a camper in your case) or they sometimes leave it at the scene of a crime like a burglary, so you get blamed and not the ones that actually do the crime. Made sense at the time.
Just my 2 cents.

I talked with an HP at a gas station south of Missoula and he said I should report it back home, so I called the sheriff's dept. The HP said the same thing your saying.
