The woman testifying yesterday was awarded 5mill from the victim compensation fund, so maybe her life wasnt completely ruined... I know theres more than a few people out there that would do some naughty stuff for that kind of cash!

There are many people that have put themselves in bad situations searching for the fame and glory with professional athletes, singers, actors, producers, politicians etc...

It's just that I've always associated the word "rape" with force and non-consent. I'm not very sophisticated I will admit.

I get that statutory rape happens and it's wrong. I just wish that they'd include the "statutory" term it in cases like this.
