kurt R is correct about SD court thing. i saw it on facebook how there not allowing any private land ownership info to be allowed on public maps etc etc theyalso were bitching about marking lands if i remember right and some private owners didnt want public lands marked??? correct me if i am wrong kurt R but i read something about that.

so they basically want to control public land/access but have us ( taxpayers) foot the bill

Not all public land just the school land which is a little harder to find but with a gps you can get there. Alot of honey holes that renters dont like others to know about.

It is not the land owners it seems the countys want to make a bunch of money for info that is public so now it is in court and a big charlie foxtrot. I saw what walworth wanted to charge for that info and it was a crazy amount onx is willing to pay but not 100 some thousand dollars.

i have birdseye for garmin, works pretty slick just download the satellite imagery from the basemap program name it and save it to your GPS internal memory, then whenever you zoom in you will have full satellite imagery for the area you downloaded, plus you can still have a chip in it too.
