Those auctions are legitHad no idea this was a problem. Never been an issue for me so never paid any attention. How often has someone innocent of any crime had to forfeit their property? I guess all I know is when I see an ad for the G&F having an annual auction to sell confiscated outdoor equipment. Just assumed all of this property came from someone who had been convicted of a game violation. Perhaps I have been wrong.
there are so many cases of people not found guilty and still loosing assets. Thousands of em. It’s no different than you being charged with a felony and loosing the right to own a gun immediately. And then after your trial if found innocent not getting those rights back. There is no due process in confiscation of your property before your trialHad no idea this was a problem.
