Had no idea this was a problem. Never been an issue for me so never paid any attention. How often has someone innocent of any crime had to forfeit their property? I guess all I know is when I see an ad for the G&F having an annual auction to sell confiscated outdoor equipment. Just assumed all of this property came from someone who had been convicted of a game violation. Perhaps I have been wrong.

there are so many cases of people not found guilty and still loosing assets. Thousands of em. It’s no different than you being charged with a felony and loosing the right to own a gun immediately. And then after your trial if found innocent not getting those rights back. There is no due process in confiscation of your property before your trial

I always love the ones were the only thing the person did wrong was haveing a large amount of cash. Bust them for haveing to much cash and then just keep the cash even though nothing illegal was done.
