I would really like do know the details on this one because like I said the whole thing sounds off a bit. The news really took the story and ran with it as “hunters” that did this.... maybe it was but the smear towards hunters already happened via the news story... there was a farmer/ranchers wife they interviewed..... im not saying it was or wasnt and its not a good deal all but it doesnt smell right to me. I an very curious to know the outcome and any other tidbits the news article left out as to the actors involved....

the best part about that post/picture was on facebook some guy goes "Could it be the deer tried to jump over and didn't make it? Only reason I'm asking, ive see deer get hung up in the fences before" He was dead serious, That post made my whole day.

TO ELABORATE: for those that didn't see the picture, the carcass was hung by threading a wood post through both sets of ribs

I thought the poster on the fence post was one of the ones used to post school lands. There were cattle in the background. Crappy deal.
Correct, it looked like it was on a posted State school land post. I'm assuming somebody is peeved about that state school land always being posted. Could also have been some idiots out drinking late at night looking to dump a carcass and stuffed it on a fence post instead.

Speaking of which, what are the rules on posting State School Land? Can they post it full time as long as there is cattle in there?
