Had some good action off a dead cow last Friday night. Killed 4 that came in, and as we were looking for carcasses, 2 more showed up late. I shot one of those, but in my excitement to get my tripod back out and set up, I forgot the record button, so only 4 are pictured. We did one more set before some rain moved in and my brother killed one more. It was a good night.

Video quality isn't the best due to high humidity.

My brother went out and found #5. He was right where I dropped him. I really should have looked around more that night, but we had other stands to make.

Are these usually all night until morning hunts? Like what's your normal operating hours?

Last Sat. morning while watching the corn for deer we seen 7 yotes running around in a picked cornfield that had a bunch of cattle in it. I'm not sure I've ever seen yotes running around in the corn before.

If you want more horse power go with the 223 WSSM or 243 WSSM.

I have the 223 WSSM and a 6MM BRX.

These are chambered in AR-15
This is true, but they require proprietary parts and hard to find brass. 22 ARC is the easy button. The Hornady 62 V-Match is excellent factory ammo. -- And that's coming from a seasoned reloader who usually turns his nose up at factory ammo.

Looks like your partner went leveling head and Pulsar.

Thoughts on the leveler vs. the Anvil?

Pulsar vs. Yoter?

I absolutely love the Anvil. For a hunting rifle, I doubt there's anything better. Huge range of motion, one lever that's easy to run, and it locks up tight. My brother runs one too, and loves it.
My buddy bought a new tripod recently, and the leveling head came with it. It seems nice, but it lacks range of motion up and down. I think when hunting steeper terrain, it may be limiting. I wouldn't be surprised if he had an Anvil soon.

As far as Pulsar vs Bering, I don't know... I've not personally run the Pulsar much. I know that my brother has the Pulsar Merger 640 binos, and a Super Yoter 640 scope, and he says the scope looks better. I have another buddy that runs an IRay 640 scope of some kind, and that is nice too. If I were looking, I would want:
- 640 Resolution
- 3x-ish base magnification
- Range Finder
- A decent rechargeable battery solution (like 18650s). -- Proprietary batteries are typically really expensive, and using a USB battery pack is a pain.

Couple more from last weekend (SD). They were not exactly charging in. Had to reach out and touch one at over 400 yards. The 22 Creed don't play...

How do you like the thumb hole stock. Planning on getting another Boyds At-One for my Savage Axis 6.5 creed, just not sure if I want to try a thumb hole or get the regular like I did for my 7mm. I'm not crazy about my 7mm grip so might order the target grip and see if i like that a little more, it's not bad just different

I like it quite a bit. I wanted a pistol grip, as it's easier to run on a tripod, but the thumbhole was as close as I could get for that rifle.
