I haven't read all pages so If I missed this answer I apologize. What thermals are you all using? I was told should always have one with a range finder? Is there a good entry level one? Not sure I want to afford one.
I run a Bering Optics Super Yoter 640. It does not have a range finder, which is something I'll have on the next one. Thermals are getting better and cheaper all the time. There are a lot of cheaper 384 core units out there, but once you see a 640, you'll want that. 1024 / 1280 cores are still pretty rare and expensive, but soon enough those will be the standard.I haven't read all pages so If I missed this answer I apologize. I run a 4 year old Bering Optics Super Hogster 384. Works fine but next one will have a range finder. Thermal scopes have come a long way in 5 years.I haven't read all pages so If I missed this answer I apologize. What thermals are you all using? I was told should always have one with a range finder?
