I HATE coyotes!!!!

[Eatsleeptrap]

It's good to put them someplace the property owner will not pop them with a tractor tire or turn them into meat pudding with a rotary mower.

I was just curious why anyone would drag them?

To me, its just for the photo. If not where is his rifle and his gear?

Meat pudding & tag soup.....2 of hunters' greatest culinary meals!

It’s wanton waste to leave them. It’s also courteous to the land owners that give me permission. I do euro skulls or tan tails on some if they are good.

It’s between me and my truck. I always drag them out. No need to carry everything on retrieval when three stoned dead. Partner had a rifle if need be.

There is no wanton waste on fur bearers but common sense is to make sure they are not some where it will piss the land owners off.

Wanton Waste Rules: North Dakota Game and Fish wanton waste regulations apply specifically to waterfowl, migratory game birds, and upland game (requiring reasonable efforts to retrieve edible flesh), not to furbearers like coyotes

Red fox on the other hand...

Coyotes are so nasty fleas won’t even touch them. Coyotes have fleas, and mange, and …

They stay where they drop

That would be like retrieving praire dogs

Piss off the landowner…..

Ok, I digress

2 of 3 I shot a couple weeks ago had very large birds chowing down on them <4hrs post-flatline. 3rd may have too, didn’t go check. I did go and find them, too kersploded to do anything other than let Ma Nature recycle them into bird, varmint, and rodent dung.

I think he may have been referring to if they were worth something, why drag and ruin the hide. My first thought on reading
