Your right today we have many more options. I guess we should all be happy about that because we think differently. I like the smaller increments of the minute of angle. I don't like the 1/8 inch because you get less yardage per revolution. I wish I had the second generation PST with 25 minutes of angle per revolution.


I do have one scope with 1/2 minute lf angle clicks and 20 some inches per revolution. 1/2 minute is ok out to 500 yards, but a little crude beyond that. Kind of like mils. :;:

Though the math is strenuous and each system has its own loyal fanbase, MIL and MOA fundamentally boil down to a single concept.
Yup, that sums it up for me too.

i am not good enough to shoot 4" groups at 1000 yet so the 1/2 on my hslr is good for me.

26.13 is what i need at 1000 so i dial 26.

with 1/2 each click is 5.24"
with 1/4 each click is 2.62"
i am not good enough to shoot the 2.62" at 1000 yards
