I usually drop them down a ice hole before something breaks. So I quit buying them.

And those bastages won't honor their warranty??!!

I have a buddy that wears "tactical" pants and fills all the pockets with gadgets. He even has fire crackers on hand, just in case...haha
Love these guys, but we brought beans in a can on time, and when he emptied out his 200 items of needed gear, not one of them was a damn old fashioned can opener...haha
He now builds bridges.

Yes, you don't have to BE that guy, you just have to have that guy with..

Then the boat sinks, and all the gear pulls him down faster than a two-bit hooker with a suitcase full of blow.

I take it Gerber must be built better these days. When I worked in the sporting goods department back around 2000 we would get about 75% of the Gerbers back all with the pliers head snapped off on one side or the other. Never got a Leatherman back well except for the guy who wanted a refund because he lost his! ;:;banghead

I must be unique, as I use nothing. I really haven't been in a situation where I needed one I guess. I keep a tool box in my pickup, and have some random tools in the ranger, boat, Harley, and mrs johnrs rig.
Guess I hate having extra crap in my pockets and on my belt. I haven't carried a wallet in years.

So, are you trying to tell us you wear "skinny jeans" or "yoga pants"? ;:;rofl

I'm close to being "that" guy, I wear 511's because I need the room for the socket on my leg. All I carry is wallet, keys, 1911 and spare mag, pocket knife and Leatherman. Sad to say no firecrackers. ;:;banghead

Gerber man myself.
I think i have like 6 of them. Don't go anywhere without one on my hip. Nope won't even go to Church without my Gerber!
Buddies were giving me grief a couple weeks ago about walking my daughter down the aisle this fall. Told them yep the Gerber will be on my right side and my daughter on my left.
