Another Colorado low coming week of December 12?

Since I've been watching this model routinely the last few years, it has accurately predicted almost all of the big snow makers up to a week out.

It's very early and the impact area, intensity and duration always fluctuate, but something to keep an eye on.

I noticed what appeared to be fairly significant snowfall projected a week out, but I took it as the proverbial thrown-dart prognostication. Maybe there's more to it...
i saw that too. adding the very very early amounts up my app is saying monday into tuesday 6-14" total when shes all said and done. haha lets see how accurate this is. thatll about limit access for about every recreational activity Nodak has to offer unless you own tracks or sunggle up closely with someone one does hahaha

Issued at 354 AM CST Tue Dec 6 2022

Flow aloft turns zonal until Thursday evening, so no snow is
expected and temperatures are able to warm into the 20s and 30s.
A few weak shortwaves move through with very little chances for
snow through the weekend. Sunday a Colorado Low sets up and takes
aim for the Dakotas, high uncertainty with this as it is day six,
but this looks to be our next chance of maybe some measurable
snow.

If this stays the course, the bulk will fall from Fargo to Bemidji area. Definitely something to keep an eye one. Someone is going to get pasted.

problem with this type of moisture is by the time that by the time january passes its north wind and blowing cold on it -- the snow drys out.

In the 90s mother nature did it the right way --- rain rain rain rain and more rain. May June July and some of august and then the falls were wet as hell too. If you fished dl in the 90s you remember it will outrunning storms all day.

If you melted all the "SNOW" that we have got this fall it would not even make a ducks ass wet.

That’s perfect the sheet water is the most important. Keep getting it and it will add up once spring comes then hopefully a wet spring.
