Old Cemetery?

A few miles from our farm there's an old tombstone in the ditch next to the gravel road. I can't remember the exact dates on it, but I believe it was a young child in the late 1800's I'll have to look at it again next time I am out there.

Made 5 cemeteries yesterday day. 233 miles round trip. Yellow marigolds on 13 sites. Yellow flowers was my Mothers favorite. Today is Dad's birthday. Will make a repeat trip again before Memorial Day.

The Cemetery in Medora has some very interesting tombstones. Some don't have names, just "Man the Bank Fell on." or " Man who owned 10 Acres".

I found a picture of the one I mentioned earlier. I guess it had carved oak letters inlaid but the story goes that someone stole them for a souvenir.

it was in the Goodrich area , 1997 I do believe we found 2 graves actually had a nice little fence around it , if I remember correctly one was a 80 year and the other 12 years old, dates were 1918 with influenza inscribed at the bottom of both markers, if I had a picture its been long lost

Made from cedar tone decking and then dark varnish. Optimistically it will last longer than I will.
