Read a legal description a few years back (can’t remember the county) that said “starting at the corner post and as far as you can fling an arrow in a westerly direction etc.” That wasn’t you was it espringers? I was just glad I didn’t have to do that one.

Reminder: If you itemize deductions on your Fed. tax return. You may want to pay 2017 property taxes this year, so you can deduct that amount this year. The new tax plan doubles the standard deduction for 2018, most people will not meet the standard deduction in 2018.

brings up a question, how many actually itemize. I only know a couple and they have a ton of investments, etc. I just don't know any middle class and below people that do. I have never and I'm old.

yea I can't wait. last year they wanted to raise the tax valuations on three worthless lots I own in Surrey from $1600 to $13,000. After many people loosing their minds they reduced it to something like $3400. Nothing like seeing a 1000% increase in your valuations in a year lol

Well I heard wrong, my tax bill showed up in the mail box yesterday. ;;;;;;;

https://youtu.be/RSny6D1LaII?t=13

The value of my modest home dropped $15000. But the taxes went up $420. Mill levy went from 282 to 325.:mad:

This city government is a, spend now, pay later, type of government. They are planning lots of stuff to keep spending money. I wouldn't be surprised to see our taxes go up another 20 to 30 % next year. I don't think they realize, that if they keep raising taxes, people will be leaving town in big numbers.

The problem is the boys from the big cities in ND travel to the liberal mecca of Minneapolis and think "holy shit we have be just like em". Then come home and put a noose around the local politicians and this is what happens.
