About half way between the goal line and the blue line there are dark spots at the top of the glass at both ends. Does anyone know what they are besides a distraction ?

I think it is a special effects device, like smoke or sparks or some shit for after goals.

I think a WW is right if your thinking of what I am. I seem to remember them being olive the glass but a guess it could be your perspective depending on what level your sitting at.

I have only noticed them when watching on tv. Wife and I have been trying to figure out the what and why about them mostly because it's a mystery but also when there is some scrappy play in that area they resemble a puck and distract attention away from the play. @ 0:02 you can see one. They seem small for anything of special effects but big things can come in small packages.

They've done some sort of upgrade in the last year or so.

I don't see it in the clip, but then again.......I'm slow.

That is, however, one HELL of a goal! Between his own legs AND top shelf?????? What!?!?

No one cares. There are about 24 hockey teams and the Sioux still can't compete even with the best facilities. Maybe the should cut men's hockey and bring back the girls team.

It hardly shows up on these clips because the camera is zoomed out. Hit pause @ 0:02 on the first clip and look for a small rectangle dark spot on the top of the glass. When the cameras are zoomed in during the game it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Not if you win or lose it's how you play the game.

Below is a list of all NCHC teams’ alumni on an opening-day NHL roster broken down by alma mater (in order of most alumni to fewest).[/FONT]

I took a look last night. It is a microphone. There is wires going down the wall to something in control.

The co2 or smoke effect whatever they use look like they are atop the taller glass on the end boards and corners. The ones I was wondering about are on the lower glass.
