True enough. The YouTubers show that it’s so easy, which brings in more nonresidents (we have unlimited NR tags) which means more deer killed. More hunters same amount of deer and pretty soon the experience goes down the shitter. Look at what happened with our waterfowl season. I don’t know of a resident over the age of 35 that duck hunts here anymore .So it’s not about the YouTubers baiting making videos it’s being greedy and wanting multiple tags. Could have just said that from the start.
You reek of envy……and are actually making my point for me. Thank you. What’s funny is Ive never personally taken a deer over bait. Not one. I hunt mule deer. Occasionally I’ll hunt over the bait I put out but I only go because some family members want to go and it’s a way to spend time with them and get them involved in the outdoors. If a hog steps out I’ll take the shot but otherwise 99% of deer get nothing more than observation from me. My daughter killed her first deer over bait we put out together. She was with me for every ounce of work that went into it and being able to let the deer come in and make a broadside shot over the pile at 34 yards make wounding and losing a deer almost impossible. Making an ethical shot is 100% accurate and you are pretty full of shit. It was also possible to choose a dry doe instead of one with a fawn. you are so full of shit and seething of envy in every way it’s actually kind of comical. It’s literally dripping out of the words you write…... I feed deer. And on occasion I’ll hunt over it when those dear to me want to go and spend time in the outdoors. Also, after the nearby WMA gets shit stomped for weeks on end, we end up feeding 50 turkeys through the winter. Come spring they slowly disburse again…..so maybe you are right. I don’t wanna save the herd. My goal is to give a boost to ALL game animals in the area.Say what you want but the reason that most people bait deer has nothing to do with saving the herd. They want to kill the biggest buck they can with their bow for their YouTube video or Facebook account. The dumbasses that say oh it makes for an ethical shot.. blah blah blah.. not true. Most of these people would never even get a shot because they wouldn’t know what a trail was or how to pattern a deer without the corn pile. That is the honest truth. The guys making food plots and habitat are much different than the ones I am talking here. Unless they are in the group that kill ( #1 on their hit list, that was a 5.5 year old named Mac that they passed on at 3.5 years. Yadda yadda dumbasses) .. the ones I’m talking about put out 6 corn piles late summer with cameras and know the exact minute to be out there to kill a certain deer and then stop the corn pile after they kill.
Okay Karen. I hope you can continue on with your mental disorder.since you said diffrent im gonna go ahead n assume thats a compliment thank u sir
Why not open up crossbows to everyone if it’s all about ethics and old people scared of new technology (the in-line muzzleloader crowd vs traditional). If this happens good luck ever drawing another rifle mule deer tag.You reek of envy……and are actually making my point for me. Thank you. What’s funny is Ive never personally taken a deer over bait. Whole other conversation but , do the new bows really pale in comparison to cross bows ….. I know folks who can ethically shoot at deer at 80-100 yards with compounds now ..Why not open up crossbows to everyone if it’s all about ethics and old people scared of new technology (the in-line muzzleloader crowd vs traditional). Not sure. Honest question and not trying to be a jerk. At what point do we reign some of this stuff in? If we just keep letting all this happen, doesn’t there have to be changes to the bag limits or license restrictions with hunting and fishing?Whole other conversation but , do the new bows really pale in comparison to cross bows ….. I agree . At some point it needs to be looked at . They (deer , fish , etc) are not an endless resource . I think a 1 tag system should be looked at . I think youth hunters should get tags until they are out of high school . There’s many things that should be looked at for sureNot sure. Honest question and not trying to be a jerk.
