I wouldn't diss the CC method as it's very useful in Alg II when multiplying polynomials. Plus It's useful using the distributive property in Pre Algebra. Also lower level math students like the method better as shown, and why not teach BOTH? Oh and it works good for mental math for higher level students.

One side is encouraging mental illness as a way to live in a society that has already been taught what is normal. If freaks were normal people, why don't you see more of them in the media that's trying to encourage? I don't see freaks on the evening news, running for office, or running billion dollar businesses. No freaks are realistically a new phenomenon that society still thinks it isn't normal. With this election one only needs to see that people are still sticking with the idea that freaks need to get help, and misogynistic men are still the best option for a successful life.
