Last week tree's started showing color changes in leaves,ducks and geese are done molting and checking out they're new flight feathers and now the 1st snow fall out west~

I'd have to agree. Last few falls have been warm and have lingered well into November. I'm predicting an early cold fall- and an early RUT.

This is Goose Pasture Tarn in breckenridge colorado,one hellofa trout lake,moose hang here all summer.

Only problem is everything you listed is well within normal for this time of year. Hell goose season opens in a week and the mountains can get snow at any point even in July. This is in bismarck one year and one day ago and these same trees are full green this year.

This snow fall today was the 1st above treeline this summer,skied until june above 10,000ft,only precip we had all summmer was a alot of rain and a few hail storms,ice on the deck last weekend.But yeah,winter is knocking on the door.

Yeah I had one year I was hunting above 12 in the middle of Nov in a T shirt and the following year I was forced below 9 by the first part of Sept. The place I was at in colorado gets less then 30 frost free days a year and I've seen two inches of snow in the bottom of the valley on the fourth of July so it can definitely swing wildly at lest there.

I've felt a tic of fall in the air the last few days. Nights are cooling off and the crickets are coming on.

Fooled a couple of mice in the no fail mouse set up in my camper porch in northern MN last weekend. Yep, fall is a coming.
