Card just came in about a week ago. Still getting used to it, kinda weird.

I got mine originally for the hunting reason of always having one in the truck that may accidentally get covered. I made my wife take the course also since she occasionally drives my truck which usually has guns in it. I don't need Minot's finest to have any reason to write her or me up. However in the last couple of years she has since started carrying in her purse and I always have mine. Always chambered! I do take it out when I am around the kids though.

It'll be weird for s little while, like you're hiding something. Over time it becomes like having your wallet or cell phone, feel naked without it.

When I carry I'm always cocked and locked... it's why I like the 1911 with the thumb safety and grip safety... less worry about the kids with having both... I always carry in a shoulder rig because a full size 1911 is too much in my waist band and I have a hard enough time keeping my pants up
