two sets of law enforcement get shot at or shot in the past few days

plus innocent people gettting shot (the two sister's in law). They say mental health --- i say its because nobody can sit little johhny down and say ---- your going to hell little johnny ----and its a worse life than what you have now. Little Johnny is so used to having his way he takes the lifes of others when he doesnt have his way.

One shooter liked the outdoors ---- I always think that an fellow hunter / fishermen sees life as more precious than anybody else - but that is gettting numbed too by this sport being more and more commercialized -how big of boat, how nice of gun, how many tournaments and how big of rack one can get. The focus is on how one can outdo another vs seeing a sunrise and thanking god for what he gave you.

Hats off to the law enforcement - you have the toughest job trying to police these assholes.

I agree with you about just being thankful to be outdoors and enjoying nature.

I always point out to my hunter ed classes it's not killing or getting the biggest and best that's important it's just being out seeing and enjoying nature. If you do bag what you're after that's something to be proud and a bonus to your hunt.
