Evidently you can NOT send gun parts thru UPS. I wanted to sent a scope out today and they asked what it was. I said a "scope" (didn't say rife scope). The guy looks at his manager and she asks me "is that a gun part"? I said "no, it is not a part of a gun. It can be attached to a gun, but it is not a 'part'. She then said Ok. Paid my fee and walked out. Next time I will have to try Fed X.

I have a friend that absolutely hated black birds, so as it turns out another friend shot a couple and wrapped them in plastic, boxed them up and UPS'd them to his house in western Montana...haha
Talk about a neat prize opening that box.

The UPS hub (East Bismarck) is the only place you can ship guns or gun parts.
