I won't bitch about snow coming with the wind because it's a hell of alot better then flames coming with it. Does suck that it looks windy most of the next two weeks though.

I had no problem with the wind until the other day when I took the boat out for its made voyage for the year. Made it about .5 miles from the launch and the motor died. No big deal hooked up the trolling motor and headed back. Made it about 200 yards and the battery died. My own fault I should if made sure it was charged. So I'm stuck about 50 yards off shore. I half thought about swimming till I touched the water. I used my net as a paddle for about 20 yards till I could hit shore with one of my trolling rods with a 2oz weight. Was able to get the weight tangled put in some cattails on shore and reel myself in. I then had to drag the boat up on shore with the pickup couse I couldn't get the trailer in the water in that spot.

A thread about wind and a thread about wind(anus). Air movement seems to be an issue. I am out of my league. I would e-mail Dr. Phil.

Holy balls. Be glad you're young. Preserve it. Use experience to do better (as you've stated). You could've been really effed if you were in your mid, typical 40's.

I'm only 31 but feel like I'm 40 some days.

Just be glad you were on a lake instead out here on the river. Only had a boat loose it's big motor completely once and luckily we were upstream from the ramp. Did get a laugh though when we gosted into the ramp in the pitch black with no lights and scared the living shit out of an unsuspecting shore fisherman.

I thought these were mandatory as well as a fire extinguisher on your boat at all times? Anyways

Just in case you suspect a pack of sconis looking to rape and pillage your favorite honey hole, you can run back to shore and Meelosh their tires until the local authorities can apprehend such sconis.

As I exited my vehicle this morning to walk into my office building, I let a little Busch light toot in your honor, you should be able to smell it in 20 minutes...haha

Just for you juanr.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsY8l0Jg3lY

I have my Polaris ranger parked next to the house on the west side where I park all my excess stuff. I cover it with a custom tarp, that yesterday was hanging on with a single bungee strap like a giant kit, the wind blew my hat off so quickly I didn't even see where it blow to while trying to remove the tarp in an attempt to prevent some type of damage. My ice cold Busch light was rolling down the driveway 3/4 full and blowing like and empty can. The dirt from 4 miles to the west of Menards was covering the town link light smog, the dog was standing in his kennel leaning into the wind watching me fight the tarp and chase my beer down the driveway at about a 45* angle into the wind to prevent getting blown over.

I finished my awkward outdoor wind battles, drank one more Busch and decided to start my google search for a less windy local, as my blood was boiling. If we as a state need to build a 500 foot wall on the Montana boarder to get the wind to skip over us, it would be money well spent, that is a tax I could believe in.

"who's blowin my hat down the streets of the city..........blowin the tarp off of my ATV.
Who's makin my day really so shitty.... everyone knows it's Windy."

And Windy blows dust in my eyes.......the dog can;t stand straight in his kennel if he tries..
And windy makes Menards garbage fly... up above clouds.....all over the town........it gets me down......

Who's blowing my Busch Lite down the streets of the city.....whistlin at everybody she sees
Who's making my blood pressure really this shitty,.........everyone know it's Windy. "
