fish for 2 hour a day for 12 days or 8 hours a day for 3 days?? I kind of like to get out for a couple hours a day and unwind from whatever. It gives me something to look foreword to. Kind of like the desert part of the day.

2 hours a day for 12 days. Those two hours would have to be actually line in the water time though, otherwise I would go for 8 hours in 3 days.

I'd do the 8 hours. I like trying new bodies of water, and sometimes it will take me a couple hours to find structure/fish/etc ...

I would have to go 2 hours a day. But I only live 5 min from 2 lakes and a couple min from the river.

I think I'd go for 8 hours 3 times. I feel like with just 2 hours fishing time, many times it might take at least an hour to get dialed in and then you'd have to leave shortly after that. I think 4 hours, 6 times would be the sweet spot for me.

When I had a boat I didn't mind backing down the ditch to launch I used to do the 2hrs/day multiple days out @ Swede Grove. Now I've got a boat I'd rather not back down the ditch so I make longer multiple day trips but not nearly as often.

I miss being able to have the 2 hours a day. So now it would have to be 8hours and leave the phones in the truck.

2, if they're not biting in the first hour, they're rarely biting during the 8th hour.

Replace fishing with sex, would you rather have it 3 times in 12 days or 12 times?

I would take the 2 hours a day. Of course I would still need the same amount of blue yummies

I like 8-12 hour shifts. It allows me enough time to switch things up for fun and learn new things. 2 hours at a pop and all I would do is my confidence/comfort zone lures and tactics to put fish in the net. 8 hours goes really fast on the water.

Sawyer,

This is not accurate.

In the big water, many times it takes and hour or two to find the fish. So I generally fish 3-6 hours when I go out. I'd take the 8, every lake I fish is at least 40 min from the house, so short trips seem wasteful.

I don't like going out and fishing longer than 4-5hrs at a time. By the fifth hour I like to get off the boat and re-gen. I do like early mornings until 1pm and then coming back out to the lake for evening/sundown fish. It might be 8-hours that way.

So you gotta take the "blue yummies" for all the sex or enjoy the "blue yummies" on the boat?

I'd much rather take 2 early morning or evening hours of fishing 12 times than the 8 hours 3 times

I typically do 2 hours, most times that counts leaving the house, fishing, cleaning the fish, and putting the boat away. It's about perfect if there is any bite at all going on. Leaves time for a cycle ride and then working on that 'honey do' thing.
