I must have the same model as you. As mine did the samething.Got one that worked decent at first, performance kind of tapered off quickly after a few seasons, now that we have been married for 13yrs it don't work worth a darn.
Should have bought the fancy model. LBI must have the same model as you. As mine did the samething.
I think the arrestors get plugged/fouled, right? The equivalent to getting a potato shoved up your tailpipe.I have a Stihl and it works great , I took off the spark arrestor and the power really intensified , quick videos on youtube on how to do it .
Any issues with it? I have not used it but read things online about people having issues with TruFuel.I also run trufuel in mine , no mixing just pour and go
I could always trade up to a fancier modelI must have the same model as you. As mine did the samething.

I still use the old one about a dozen times a year. Shit just flies when you get after it.I looked at the upgrade units and I couldn't justify the cost knowing that the same issue will likely occur. I remember when dad got one of these on an auction sale, provided lots of entertainment for me brush hogging. Looking back I had an odd sense of "fun" the harder I worked the happier I was, now some of those projects make me grumpy. I will say I was in darn good shape though
The mistake you made was marrying your "blower".....seems they stop working immediately when that happens! Maybe I misinterpreted your postGot one that worked decent at first, performance kind of tapered off quickly after a few seasons, now that we have been married for 13yrs it don't work worth a darn.
How does the old Rodney Carrington line go? "When she says I do that means, I don't do that no more"The mistake you made was marrying your "blower".....seems they stop working immediately when that happens! Maybe I misinterpreted your post
