Can't imagine either of them would want any part of the Twins' dumpster fire right now.Don't let the door hit you in the ass.

Two names and only two names to consider. Pay them whatever they want.
Jorge Posada or Joe Girardi.
Carl gave Kirby Puckett the largest contract in MLB history at that time, TWICE, in 1989 and 1992. But he bought a baseball team and figured he should give a shit about it. Two world series wins in the first seven years he owned the team. That attitude died with him and the Twins seem more of a nuisance to his kids.Haha Pohlads pay for something. You could get the three best coaches in history and they couldn’t help with how shitty ownership is.
He manages strictly on analytics. Good luck to any team that guy gets a job with. I realize with current ownership the Twins isn’t a great job but Rocco is terrible. Every time a pitcher was having a great day it didn’t matter. Yank him before the lineup sees him a 3rd time. The starter could have a 2 hitter and 70 pitches and ope it’s the 3rd time better put the bullpen in and use them up. Seems like a nice guy but that doesn’t win baseball games.I would have been fine with Rocco being fired before the trade deadline. Once they gave away all of his pitchers, I can't really blame him for the last couple months. However, who's idea was it to go from never stealing a base to attempting to steal recklessly? How about stealing when it makes sense based on the pitcher, catcher, situation, etc....if Rocco was making those dumb decisions than I don't feel sorry for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he lands somewhere else and is a great success just because I cannot imagine a worse situation to try to manage than in MN where they are too cheap to pay for any talent right now and for the last few years.
I was thinking he was going strictly by analytics but how does that explain how they changed their approach to stealing? I doubt the analytics changedHe manages strictly on analytics. To be honest after the ownership said they were maintaining major ownership share and traded away the whole team I pretty much checked box scores here and there and hoped they lost enough to fire Baldelli. If I were to guess about the stealing maybe the minor ownership partners got a little say?I was thinking he was going strictly by analytics but how does that explain how they changed their approach to stealing? They are the worst ownership in all of the major sports. Will be interesting to see if they can even get anyone to coachHe manages strictly on analytics. This is the biggest issue, they are not someone I would want to work for, even if you have success chances are they will trade you away or send your best players down the road because they don't want to pay them. They eliminated most of their scouting department, most of their players and now the manager. It's everyone elses fault but Jim Pohlads who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth!Even if they don’t sell the team, they just need to clean shop completely. They got rid of Rocco, now they need to get rid of Falvey. Yes the ownership sucks, but other teams are getting it done with lower (or similar) payroll than the Twins. Look at Cleveland and Milwaukee as examples.
That said, the pohlads have destroyed all morale.
