This is true, I'm with ya on wanting to build one myself. For me part of the fun is playing with the fire and working it to achieve desired outcome.I have wanted to make my own out of rock or brick for years. And though some day I still would like one for pizza or baking bread I have come to the conclusion that if you already have a pellet grill you can buy a good pizza stone and make almost as good a pizza as you could with the outdoor oven. Probably cant reach the high temps you might want with the pellet grill but also don't have to spend 2 hours getting a hot enough fire going in a outdoor oven either.
With a traeger --- i have both a traeger and pitt boss --- pitt boss hits 500 degrees barely, the traeger doesnt come close to the pitt boss. Not as easy I just use the app on my phone hit temp you want push start done in like couple minutes we are hot as momma
So you're talking Neapolitan style pizza. You should have included that in your OP. I got two ovens from Italy that work well. What is your budget? With a traeger --- i have both a traeger and pitt boss --- pitt boss hits 500 degrees barely, the traeger doesnt come close to the pitt boss.
Again were talking 900 degrees. I am not interest in oven traeger talk. I am looking for people that own the outdoor pizza ovens.
Damn I think portnoy needs to come to your place for the one bite challenge. That’s some next level pizzaSo you're talking Neapolitan style pizza. You should have included that in your OP. I got two ovens from Italy that work well. What is your budget?

And I am plenty fat.I am impressed with the amount of time and money you fellas put into making pizza.
I have made a few on the Traeger, and they seemed legit, however 99% of home made pies go into the nice easy already in the kitchen oven at 450*
I agree.
Most poor people do. It’s science.I fricken hate dough....
I usually finish my pizza off with a couple minutes on broil to brown the cheese on top, its worth the extra effort..So you are saying the top heat from the regular oven makes the difference?
I'm not talking frozen.
Za is short for pizzaWhat is a "za"? Is this some kind of code for the gay or White Claw?
and by effort you mean pushing the broil button ? lolI usually finish my pizza off with a couple minutes on broil to brown the cheese on top, its worth the extra effort..
