I have wanted to make my own out of rock or brick for years. And though some day I still would like one for pizza or baking bread I have come to the conclusion that if you already have a pellet grill you can buy a good pizza stone and make almost as good a pizza as you could with the outdoor oven. Probably cant reach the high temps you might want with the pellet grill but also don't have to spend 2 hours getting a hot enough fire going in a outdoor oven either.
This is true, I'm with ya on wanting to build one myself. For me part of the fun is playing with the fire and working it to achieve desired outcome.

With a traeger --- i have both a traeger and pitt boss --- pitt boss hits 500 degrees barely, the traeger doesnt come close to the pitt boss.

Again were talking 900 degrees. I am not interest in oven traeger talk. I am looking for people that own the outdoor pizza ovens.

So you're talking Neapolitan style pizza. You should have included that in your OP. I got two ovens from Italy that work well. What is your budget?

900 degree pellet grill attachment if you have green mt grill. Without attachment will hold 550 degrees no problem with no temp drop if you want to cook at 550.

I am impressed with the amount of time and money you fellas put into making pizza.
I have made a few on the Traeger, and they seemed legit, however 99% of home made pies go into the nice easy already in the kitchen oven at 450*
