    Put on 200 miles this morning. Lots of brown ducks and divers but mallards were a little scarce. There are numbers of Canada geese out in a number of fields all of them being chased by hunters and did see my first flock of around 30 snows. Was nice to see it was a third juvie. Did see more...

    More speed. Site is still the slowest site I visit. The slowness seems to be extremely variable with the amount of users online. But other then that it's pretty good overall and far better then some other sites we all know.

    Don't go alone and make sure you have a pair of ice picks with. Four inches of clear ice is more then enough to hold you but like many said it can be quite variable so if possible its always a good idea to check the lake as it freezes so you can know where the ice is a couple days older or...
