Land owners are just like hunters , we all have a memory. It just takes one time to be shit on by one or the other and all of a sudden we become our worst enemy for opening more land to hunt it only takes one out of hundreds to make it happen. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.it is what it is. Ndgf changed the gratis deadline so I missed out this year but my land is still going to be hunted by my neighbors. If you don't have an in it's tough,I get that but taking the gratis license away if you don't own land isn't a good option for non land owners .

The reason for this is because everything has changed from 30 years ago. 30 years ago, people used to come help the farmer/rancher during branding time or help fix fence in the spring/summer. People would come help with harvest. You see minimal to NONE of that anymore. Everyone just wants to show up the day before deer season and expects the red carpet rolled out! When the last time you saw or heard from them was a year prior before deer season :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Also, the Government Subsidies is a very slippery slope. The price to the consumer will increase 300%+ on any and all foods. Good luck feeding a family of 4 when a box of 16oz pasta is $14 and milk is $11/gal. That's the entire reasoning for the Government Subsidies when it pertains to Agriculture is to keep food "reasonably priced" for the consumer.

First paragraph is real for sure.

Have to disagree with second paragraph since commodities are sold on global market.

One step closer to the end.

I totally agree with the landowners and memory.

I have had that happen to me twice when asking to hunt a new property. "We used to let hunters on our property but "one time" this is what a hunter did . ...."
