Backyard Beehive?

So I made one a few years ago. Yesterday there was a lot of activity, probably due to a heavy rain the night before....

They seemed a little crowded so I drilled out another log right next door....

Excellent, have you had any honey harvest yet?

Wrong kind of bees to get much honey from. Great pollinators, but not top of the list for honey production. Fun to watch though.

After doing some research, it seems its a little late for mason bees to be active, guessing these are leaf cutter bees instead...
